i am not a hardcore gamer but i want a Good card so i wont be limited.
are both these card a good choice? they both sell for around 100 dollars
i can get this for about 20dollars cheaper than the 2 above

Both offer similar in peformance but lately the HD 2600XT has been peforming better in recent games than the 8600GT.
The extra memory the HD 2600XT has won't make a big difference, a big gain in peformance as it is bottlenecked by the 128-bit memory interface so it can't use all of it and so will still offer similar peformance to the 8600gt or a 256mb gddr3 version of the HD 2600XT.
Having said that the HD 2600XT is still the one I would recommend but get a 256mb gddr3 version instead as that will still offer good peformance unless the 512mb version can be found for a similar price or a better deal.
The HD 2600XT would be right for you as it can be found cheaper than the 8600GT and offer slightly better peformance.
Don't get the 8500GT as it isn't good for gaming and peforms very poorly. The 8600GT and HD 2600XT is the bare minimum for gaming. Just a option but if you can afford it then the HD3850 is a whole lot better than any of those cards for a few dollars more but the two you have mentioned are still decent.
